How long does a power flush take?

A full house typically takes 6–8 hours in a single day.

Do I need one with a new boiler?

Not always. Many manufacturers recommend a flush when fitting a new boiler to an older system, but whether one is required depends on your boiler and its warranty terms — check those before booking.

Will it fix my cold radiators?

It can, if the cold spots are caused by sludge. Other causes — a stuck valve, an airlock or a pipework issue — won't be cured by a flush, so we check the system first and tell you if something else is going on.

Central Heating Power Flushing

If your radiators have cold spots, your boiler keeps cutting out or you're fitting a new boiler to an older system, a power flush may be the right answer. We use specialist power-flushing equipment — a Kamco machine — to circulate cleaning fluid through the system and work on removing sludge and rust, typically in a single day.

"Frank and Steve were able to come out the next day and clear a blockage on my shower and install a new mixer shower valve for me. They took time to diagnose the problem and even came out on a Sunday which I very much appreciated. Very well priced and excellent value for money. Will definitely use them again for any plumbing needs in the future."
